Grab your credit card and hit the open road. Trek's 720 features a lightweight aluminum frame and vibration-damping carbon fork to cover more ground than ever before — even carrying a load. Its Shimano shifting is slick and smooth with a wide-range 22-speed drivetrain that makes easy work of long rides and big climbs, and its Tektro cable/hydraulic disc brake system stops you with complete authority. You'll also love the ride and puncture resistance of the wide Bontrager Hardcase tires and the fact that this sweet endurance tourer comes with a unique dry-bag that Velcros onto the fork, as well as rack and fender mounts to expand your gear capacity. Load it up and enjoy the journey.

The cute little front fork bags slip out of the bottom of the holder when in use. When I contacted Trek, they indicated that they are looking at a fix. I'm gluing some canoe D rings on close to the bottom as a fix as the bags themselves are quite nice. Gearing is good for hills. The bottom bracket doesn't transmit as much power as I get on my Cervello RS though - but this is a mid range aluminum tourer after all. The compact front chain ring with an 11-32 is pretty good for grades up to 10 or 12%. I'm thinking of retrofitting an SRAM 11-36 casette onto the back for touring hilly country with a load though. I got my bike after Trek had replaced the old wheels that were prone to spoke breakage. No problems so far. The factory taping on the bars is excellent. I don't need to wear gloves.

Very versatile and agile, handles like a road bike but has the ability to carry all you need for work or a weekend trip. Added the Trek fenders making it perfect in all weather. Love this bike
